Parks resident couple

Everyday here at the park, we see the resident couple. They are very noisy and you always know where they are by the noise. Here is a picture of the couple.100_2423 They are called Sandhill Cranes. They winter down here. In the summer months they are up north in Canada and Great Lakes region, and they will migrate to the south from Arizona to southern Florida. 100_2424 This is right across from our camper. This area will someday be the new club house, new pool and a miniature golf course. The clubhouse was supposed to be done by this past fall, but the economy has put them on hold. I don't know if they like the colder weather we have been having, but you see them all the time here in the park.

Rick has been down with a cold since Sunday. He has been staying inside. Tomorrow we are supposed to go to Bradenton to visit with friends that are down here from Ohio. It all depends on how Rick feels if we go tomorrow or in a day or so. They will be down here until the end of next week. We were teasing them that they are responsible for the cold weather. LOL!!! They are actually enjoying this weather, NO SNOW!!! Will write more later.

Prayers for Tricky Ricky. Love the cranes. Haven't seen any of them here in Arizona yet. Will keep my eyes open for them... and camera ready!
