Today we decided to first wash the truck as it was brown instead of blue. Then we went for a drive. No particular destination, just wanted to see some of the local scenery. We headed out of Othello on Rt 26 and it was a very pretty drive. Lots of farm land and grape orchards and apple orchards.
Notice how they prop up the grapes. You must go under to pick them. Not sure on that one.
A small airport. This might be a crop dusting plane. They do that a lot around here. They will even use a plane to spray the golf course for mosquitoes this summer.
There were mountains to our left off in the distance and then farm land all around us. They do a lot of irrigation for the crops.
We decided to look on the GPS for local attractions. We decided to go look at the Wildhorse Mountain lookout. This is the scene we saw as we were coming down an incline in the road almost to our destination.
Water!
Then we got to our destination.
This was on top of the hill, mountain or whatever it is. And people had walked up to the top. We did not, partly because of Rick’s ankle and partly because I had sandals on and partly because it was a long way up there!
This is looking back toward Rt 90 westbound.
It was a beautiful day.
Look at the reflection on the water. It was so pretty. More to post in a minute.

Love the mountain art of wild horses and the reflection picture.
