Rick's ankle is better
Today we went golfing and Rick had on both of his tennis shoes. He has been golfing with the right tennis shoe and the ankle boot on his left foot. But we did put the boot into the golf cart just in case. We actually golfed 18 holes and he did not need the boot at all! Yea, the ankle is getting better. Now is he could get the knee to quit hurting, he would be all set. I guess it's one body part at a time. LOL! Yesterday, we had high wind warnings and high fire danger. The wind was around 30 mph most of the day and gusting to between 45-50 mph. So we did not do much of anything. Just kept checking out the clunks we heard on top of the camper. We had one good size limb come down but no damage. Thank you Lord. Today was cooler, that is why we had high winds, a cold front came thru. It got up around 79 or so. Then it will start to get into the upper 80's and 90's. The good thing is we don't have the humidity to go with the hot temps. We were a little bummed out this past weekend because we missed my family reunion. But my dear niece, Traci, took lots of pictures and posted them on Facebook. It was really good to see those pictures. Next year we will be at the reunion. I have missed 2 in a row and that is not good. So we will be back east next summer. Not sure where but we will be close enough to go home to visit. I can't believe that summer is half over already. We got up here in Washington the middle of April and already it is almost the middle of July. My how time flies! Speaking of flies, there are hundreds of them around here. Everyone has fly traps out and you run in and out of the camper real fast so they don't get inside. This is normal round here, so they say, but usually the fly problem gets bad at the end of August. But we have them now. So I am guessing we will have them from here on out. Oh well, we are adjusting. But it will be good to get back to AZ where there are no bugs! We still have a few places we want to go to do some more site seeing. Just not sure where we will go. We both will have quite a few days off next week. Hopefully, we can pick a few spots to go to. We can see Mt Renier from our park. It still has some snow on it. It is about 210 miles from us. Not sure if I want to go see snow. Especially in July. LOL! We were going to go to Yellowstone, but may wait until we leave here for good. As usual, our plans are up in the air right now. As our friend Kelly says, "I don't make plans because I want to surprise myself with what I'm going to do next." Love his attitude! Hope all is well with our friends and family.

Glad to hear that Rick's ankle is doing better. Sounds like you guys are enjoying your stay there. By the way, we are going to winter in AZ next year. We have made reservations at Val Vista RV Park in Mesa, AZ. Hope to get to see you guys while there. Travel safe.
