Happy 4th of July to one and all.
Just an update on what we have been doing. After going to see the Grand Coulee Dam, we came back home and got a summer cold. Yuk, that was no fun. I did not get it as bad as Rick did. So we haven't done a whole lot in that week. But this past Friday night we played golf at night. Yes, I mean it was really dark out. But our balls were glow balls. The flags were lit up with glow sticks, the holes had glow sticks in them so you could see them, and the tee boxes were lit with glow sticks and a glow ball that kept changing colors. We have never participated in anything like this so we thought it would be different. It was a riot! We had so much fun! When you looked at the other fairways, you thought you were seeing falling stars. We got cold, it got down into the 50's but we had fun. We laughed and used flashlights to see as we were driving. And we had glow necklaces on so other golfers could see us and we had glow sticks and flashing lights on our golf cart. I hope we get to do this again soon. Rick said he will talk to Scott in Arizona City to see if he would be interested in doing something like this. They do it every 4th of July here in Washington. We started around 9:45 p.m. and got done about 12:30 a.m. It was late but we did enjoy ourselves! And then today we played 18 holes of golf and of course, the wind picked up while we were playing. The weather forecast is saying it is going to get up to the 90's this coming week. It is about time! We have been cooler than normal for this time of year. Hope everyone had a great day today.
