Yesterday we got up and wished each other Happy Anniversary! Yesterday marked 35 years together. We have had our ups and downs but all in all I thank the Lord for giving the love of a good man that genuinely cares and loves his family. Then Buddy and Shelley came over after their visit for blood tests before they have their doctors appointments. We went out for lunch because they were starving! While we were eating we talked about playing golf again. So they brought us back to our camper and we got our truck with our golf clubs and headed to their house. Well, we played golf, Rick and I did a lot better today than the last time.
After playing golf we went back to Buddy and Shelley's for a short time and then we went to the big golf store in the area. That was interesting. They have hundreds of everything you could imagine for golfing. They will have a big tent sale next week during the Buick Open. Shelley found the club she wants and some golf gloves. They went out back and hit some balls with a couple of new drivers. They all hit good. Then back to their house for dinner. Buddy cooked up pork steaks on the grill and Shelley did some fried potatoes and green beans. Everything tasted real good. As we were sitting at the table after eating and just talking, Buddy noticed one of the guys from the park put a piece of paper on his car. He also noticed they did the same thing to his neighbors truck. So they yelled at them and the guys took off. So we went outside to see what was going on. Well, it seems that Buddy and Shelley and their neighbors, Trudy and Ray were dumpster diving and got some real bargains. They found a really nice outside light and 3 chairs that they use by the fire pit. Well, I think it was Dick, I'm not sure about the name took their picture as they were driving by. The paperwork left on the vehicles were the pictures this guy took. Buddy and Shelley's said Dumpster Diver of the Month, runner up with their picture on it. The neighbors said: Dumpster Diver of the Month, Ray and Trudy with their picture. It so funny. Then the guys came back and said that they had put up these pictures all over the park. So off we went to hunt down the pictures. Buddy, Shelley, Rick and I went on Trudy and Ray's golf cart and they went on Buddy's golf cart. We found the first set of pictures.
Buddy and Shelley on the left and Trudy and Ray on the right. After the picture, they tore the pics off the tree. Then off to find the other pictures. Well, we found the next set at the actual dumpster.
Then Rick caught Shelley looking to see what else she could find.
When Trudy saw the pictures for the first time, she asked Shelley if she was going to put this on her blog. She said definitely not!! But I told them that I would. This was just something that could not go unpublished. I asked Trudy how many dumpster's were in the park and she told me. Of course she new because they keep track of what is in what dumpster. LOL!!! We had such a good time. We are actually thinking of possibly getting a lot in this park. It is such a pretty and quiet park. And all the people we have met were great. So we rode around the park and did not find anymore pictures. But Buddy said he is sure that they are probably hanging in the office.
We were in jackets as you probably noticed, and we had blankets around our legs. It was soo cold. It actually got down to 50 last night. When Rick got up this morning to go golfing with Buddy, he said it was 55. I think it's only going to get up to 62 today. When we were heading back to Buddy's, DeAnn called Shelley and I got to talk to her. It was so nice talking to her. We miss those two a lot. She said it was 75 there so I told her to send it our way. It was after 9:30 before we headed back to our camper. After the guys are done playing golf, we will head back over to visit for awhile. We head back to OH tomorrow. The weather is not much better there.
