Friends from back home

This morning Rick called his buddy, Stan, who has his own truck and leases it to FedEx, and found out that they were in Oklahoma. In fact, they were in Moore, which is about 30 minutes from here or so. We met them up at the Wal-Mart store in Moore and went out to lunch at Furrs. It is a large buffet style restaurant. Here is his rig. He had his wife, Nada and their dog, Tonka with him. It was great to see them again. When we were staying in Arizona, they stopped in for the day and also, when we were in Frostproof, FL, they stopped in to see us. They travel around the country for FedEx. We tried to talk them into becoming full time RVer’s like us. Stan is all for it, but Nada is very hesitant. They asked all kinds of questions and we answered every single one of them. We gave them a lot to think about. We spent the afternoon with them and really enjoyed ourselves. This is Stan and Rick. I did not get a picture of Nada and Tonka. So sorry about that. But if you look closely at the picture of just the truck, you will see the outline of Tonka in the passenger seat. They got a load out of Tulsa and will be slowly heading back to OH. Thank you guys for a great day. We then came home and had a light dinner since lunch was a big affair. We hope they travel safely from destination to destination to home.
