More from this weekend

As we were driving around the lake in the boat, we saw all kinds of great houses. This one was by far the best in my book. Bruce said the owner has this water pumped up for the water falls. Isn’t this a fantastic place? Here are some close ups of the falls. Here are some more places along the way. This one is my next favorite. I love the landscaping job. It’s amazing what money can buy. This is looking back at the condo from the boat as we were leaving the dock. Their condo is the bottom one with the deck on the left side. They have 3 bedrooms, a large living room and a dining room. It is very comfy and elegant at the same time. Here is my man relaxing as we tool around the lake. This is the golf course right on the water. It was pretty. DeAnn sure knows how to put a great lunch together. And Cathy made the best brownies. They were to die for! After lunch, most of us got ready and went to the pool. It was a hot afternoon and the pool was nice and cool. We had a great afternoon. Back at the condo, DeAnn started preparations for dinner and said we could not help her. So the rest of us went out on the deck and started playing cards. It was warm but there was a nice breeze for most of the time. As we were getting warmer and warmer, we decided to go inside to finish the game. Now, we are all sweaty and as we go inside we find Bruce and DeAnn had showered and changed clothes for dinner. They had invited their preacher and his wife to dinner. He wanted to learn more about the RV life style. They were the nicest couple. We laughed and had a great time. The food was the best! Again, DeAnn has a flair for entertaining. After dinner we decided to go on another boat ride to take Jack and Cathy back home. It was a great time. We got up early the next morning and went to church with the Hoover’s and stayed for the Bible study afterwards. That was an interesting session. After church we went back for lunch. Then Bruce and DeAnn got ready to go back to the city. They have jobs, you know, and had to go back. They were very gracious to let us stay another night so we could get an early start on our trip home. DeAnn left out steaks for us to cook on the grill that night and boy, were they good. We ate out on the deck and had a nice relaxing evening. Well, let me rephrase that. The guys had a great evening, LaVon and I had a horrible night. We played spades and the guys beat us bad. They kept getting all the good cards, no matter who was dealing. Oh well, you win some, you loose some. The guys got lucky. But we’ll get them next time!
