Haven't written in almost a week

Well, not a whole lot has been going on. I do have some pictures and will maybe put them on at a later date. Don was gone most of the week.( He is our friend that we are spending so much time with) So we spent a few evenings playing Mexican Train Dominoes with LaVon. But mostly, we just did some things around the house. Getting ready for a trip and will be gone for about a week. Just taking the truck. We will actually be spending the day with our youngest grandson on his 4th birthday. I am looking forward to that. It has been hot here, never thought about Oklahoma being so hot. It ranks up there with Texas for the heat. Oh well, we are with great friends, so we are surviving. Rick's dad is back home and doing ok. Thanks for the prayers. He wasn't feeling real good today when Rick called him. He sounded like he had a cold. Rick talked to our oldest grandson, JT, today. He is doing good. He says he is ready for school to start. That is a major improvement for him. Hope this year goes well. We played spades with Don and LaVon tonight and the guys won one set and the girls won one set. So it was a pretty even night. I have some things to do tomorrow after church. Then hopefully, we will get a good nights sleep. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
