Great News

Today Josh called us to let us know how the job interview went for Autumn. She is all but hired to teach at a Christain school in Hattiesburg, MS. All that is left is approval by the board, but the lady that interviewed her told her that she was going to tell them that she wants Autumn to work for them. She will have good pay and good benefits. We are so thankful for answered prayer. Now, Josh has to get the info he needs from the GI bill to get things together for him to start school. They have a plan for their future and we are so pleased things are working out for them. Yesterday, we went over to Mama Trudy's (LaVon's moms) and had a catfish dinner. It was soo good. LaVon's granddaughter, Lydia, was there and she is so pretty. I love her eyes. And we met LaVon's daughter Lanae(?). Boy, is she tall! She said she had driven thru a real bad hail storm on her way there. Glad we did not get that hail. But after she left, she text messaged LaVon to say go outside. We did and there was a real pretty rainbow. We took our cameras out for a picture. I had the small camera and it did not take the picture very good at all. We talked to Shelley today and that was good. I love hearing her laugh. Buddy was working so we did not get to talk to him. Maybe next time. The weather has been a bit cooler, especially at night. We really appreciate that. Talked to Rachel today too. Things are going better for her. Glad to hear that. I guess we have talked to just about everyone today. We like days like that. I did laundry this morning. It just seems that is one job that never goes away. Oh well, at least the laundry room is air conditioned! We are now praying that our car gets sold pretty soon. That is one thing still hanging over our head. But we have to trust in God for our future. Hope this finds everyone well and happy. Have a good day.

That's funny that you mentioned Shelley's laugh... I love that about her, too!

We are still rejoicing with you about the good news today for Autumn and Josh... God is so good.
