OK pics this time

I will try to get caught up with pictures and everything. We left Ohio and went to my family reunion in western PA. This is our campsite at the Colonel Crawford Park.100_1667 This was the second time we have used the screen room and it went up easier than we thought it would. My sister Diana and her husband Jim came in and parked next to us but I didn't get a picture of their camper. We had a good time camping with them. Last year we had 6 campsites taken with all of my family but this year only 2 of us camped. Here is my mom and her brother and sisters that are left.100_1671 From left to right is my Uncle Don, my Aunt Mid, my Mother Hazel, and Aunt Pat. My uncle lives in Winterhaven FL and we will see him this winter when we go down. Here is some more pictures of my family reunion.100_1683 This is my cousin David and when him and Rick get together, you never know what will happen. All you know is that you will be laughing. They are so much alike you would think they were related by blood instead of by marriage.100_1684 This is his wife Sharry and this is their daughter Allison. With her is my nieces daughter.100_1686 They were out playing a game of baseball. They play a game every year and this year it was hot!!!100_1685 Rick always catches and Dave always pitches. Here Rick is helping my nieces son Dylan who hasn't played ball very much.100_1682 My grandson, JT playing in the outfield.100_1688 From left to right, my niece Tracy, my nephew-in-law Jeremy, and my niece Gina. Gina and Jeremy are living in Hawaii, where he is stationed. They say it is a nice place to visit but not to live. 100_1678 From right to left, my sister Judy, sister Chris, cousin Rick, sister Diana, and niece Tracy (Judy's daughter).

After the reunion we stayed a couple more days and left on Tues to go to Gettysburg for a few days. We got in Tues evening and it was so hot. But it was so nice to turn on both a/c units and have the inside of the camper cool down in no time. Love that 50 amp service.  The next day we got up and waited for my 3 sisters and my niece and her daughter to come to where we are camped to go horseback riding in the battlefields of Gettysburg. Now Rick had the camera and of course there are no pictures of him. But he was on Miss Daisy so we teased him about "driving Miss Daisy".sany0558 Rick to this just before we started. You can see the ears of his horse, then there was Amy, then me, then my sister Shirley, and then Tracy, my niece and the mother of Amy.sany0559 This is my sister Judy, (Tracy's mom) and then my sister Jennifer. We had a good time and was glad the ride was for only an hour. It was very hot and the flies were terrible. Regular flies and the horse flies. After riding we went out for pizza at Pizza Hut. Then we went to the campground that my sisters all camp in on a regular basis. It was nice. Then on to my Mom's house. Since my dad died, Mom put the house in my three sisters names and they did some major remodeling. They added on a 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath apartment for my sister Jennifer, Redid the deck and added a three season room for my mom and then made the basement bedroom bigger for my sister Judy. Shirley has always lived with my folks.100_1702This is the new addition. They could not match the old siding so they picked this color and maybe in a year or two they will reside the rest of the house.100_1704 The sign says "Bless this home." This is as you come up the walk.100_1705  The entrance to Jennifer's apartment.100_1706 This is the entrance to Mom's house. She has all kinds of bird feeders out front plus a bird bath.100_1708 This is us on the back deck. From left to right, Shirley, Jennifer, Judy, Mom and me.100_1711This is one of the views from the deck. That is a big Formosa tree. She has another one that is even bigger a little ways out back. 100_1712

This is the patio that my sister put in off of her bedroom. She has all kinds of humming bird feeders around. On Thursday we went to the new Visitor center in Gettysburg before going to Mom's. The new center is nice but they no longer have the lighted map of the battlefield. We were disappointed but some of the new stuff was really neat. Everyone needs to go there and realize how many people died fighting to free the slaves. They would get a new prospective of the whole thing. Anyway after that we took Mom out to lunch and ran into my cousin Sharry and her daughter Allison. That was neat. After dinner it was hot so the gals decided that the dogs needed to go swimming.

100_1713Jennifer got out the pool and started filling it. They have 8 dogs between the 4 of them. Here is Brandy, my Mom's dog getting a drink.100_1714 After this we left to go back to the camper and Friday we headed to  New York state. Right after we got set up at the campground it started to rain. We had storms that night and everyday since we have had storms. But it has been so hot and muggy that they start up in the afternoon. As I'm writing this on Sunday evening, we had to stop to put the awning in. We almost lost it in the wind, but we did get it in. So we are under a sever thunderstorm watch for awhile. We were going to stay at this park for 2 weeks but the power is unpredictable so we found a park in Massachusetts that has 50 amps and is level. We are not very level here. The park we are in is very large and it goes forever and ever. They have 3 different levels. We are on the bottom level and Rick had to put the truck in 4 wheel drive to get up the drive from the main road into the campground itself. We have been just resting and trying to get caught up on our sleep. We still are up in the air about what is going to happen to Rick's mom. He talked to her today and she is still sick and so is Dad. Please keep them in your prayers.

Pictures are great, Wendy and Rick (horses).
Dennis and Sally came over tonight and we prayed for ya'll and Rick's folks again and will continue to pray for you all.
We love you and enjoyed talking to Rick so much. I told Don, "Rick's like the little brother I never had."
