We saw the sun today

Well, it was raining when we got up this morning. Not a surprise. We decided to go to the local mall and walk around, since we had to go out and fuel up anyway. So off we went. Still raining but not nearly as hard. We saw several places where the road had been washed out and a lot of water filled yards. Last night the county was under a state of emergency because of all the rain. We got anywhere from 2.5-5 inches yesterday alone. And the ground was already saturated. This is the road in front of our camper. That fifth wheel is parked in the overnighter spot. It is under water and mud also. Now here is the neat little trailer parked next to us that I mentioned yesterday. As I said before, no one lives in it. We had a visitor today that was totally unexpected. Here is our visitor. This little turtle was by our front landing gear. We think he was trying to get away from the water too. We put him back by the landing gear because Rick figured it had taken him awhile to get there and didn't want to put him back at the beginning. We will be pulling out in the morning and heading to Massachusetts. We will be taking the longer route on all main roads because New York is not up to current standards on their underpasses. Most of them are under 13' and a lot of them are around 10'. And a lot of the back roads are winding and there would be no way to turn around if we came up on one. So we have our route to the main road all set and it will be nice to get into a park with 50 amp service. We can get along with 30 amp for a short time but this park is horrible. With nothing running, we can just barely get the microwave to turn on. That stinks. So if you are in New York and want to stay in a Passport America park, stay away from Frosty Acres in Schenectady.
