Settled in Massachusetts

We are now in a very nice park that is not under water. The managers are great people and they made us feel right at home. They said they kept checking the little creek that runs behind the campground to see if it was going to overflow it's banks. Gladly to say it did not. The sun was up this morning and stayed with us all day. Thank you Lord. After we got set up, Rick called Buddy and talked to him. Actually he called him back because he called us while we were on the road. And then he called and talked to his mom. The home phone was busy so he called his brother's cell phone. They put the phone on the table and since Rick's Aunt Mattie and Uncle Tom and his Aunt Lou, he got to talk to all of them. His mom sounded better and she said the fluid in her lungs was going down and that is great news. He felt better after talking to her. We had supper and then took showers and we now smell clean!!!! We are hooked up to 50 amp but no sewer. But they have a "honey wagon" (could never understand why it's called that) that comes around on Mondays and for $3.50 they clean you out. Not bad. But it's nice to be in a park that you feel comfortable from the get go. The managers here are from the area and are now full timers like us. They work here in the summer, close to kids and grandkids, and then they work in a park in Texas for the winter. She said they like Texas because the people that go there are not real old. No offense to anyone. And the price is right. She said if they were not workamping, the cost would be 250.00 a month. We will get info on this park before we leave here. Hopefully we will get a good nights sleep and head out for a grocery store and some sightseeing tomorrow.
